New Paint

Thanks to cprolf and her painting skills, my living room is no longer primer-colored. It looks very different with color on the wall . . . I love it!

It turned out great! I think it is a good color. I'm surprised you have everything put back together already. Do you have any other rooms your are planning to paint. We should do it again. Next time, I will plan better so that I can stay longer.
Also, I won't give you the recipe, but perhaps a plate of those sinful cookies is in your future.

It's good that you were able to help cprolf get some of her extra energy out using her painting skills. We're very familiar with them at our house and it's good that our house can take a little break.

cpr-- I need to finish the kitchen and would love some help. I can't seem to get the hang of that ceiling/ wall corner. It is glaringly obvious where you left and I took over. (OK, the average person probably wouldn't notice, but it's driving me crazy!) I bet we could do the kitchen and hall in an hour or two. I also want to do the bedroom but have to decide on a color scheme. I hate my current bedspread and want to do a complete color change in there. Any suggestions are welcome. I would never turn down a plate of PB snickerdoodle . . . But I would sure kick myself the next day when my clothes didn't fit. :)

kr-- cpr's projects at your house inspire me. I'm glad your house needed a break so mine could benefit!

The living room looks fabulous! It's inspiring me to get going again. We haven't painted since we did the kids' rooms a year ago...

Paint job looks great. Now, you will just have to plan on doing furniture shopping like a fiend when you come to visit us in Sri Lanka. Rumor has it, prices are low and the quality high.

It'll be hard for me to keep up with your slacking. You've had that new stove way longer than I've had the new paint job!
