I was out in my yard today doing my weekly ritual of filling up my trash can with dead rose bush branches (I think this is my 5th full garbage can and I still have 3 bushes to go) when my neighbor came walking by. I have a corner in my yard that I have not touched because of all the dead trees and brush too big to remove with my clippers. I had filed it in my Scarlett file (I'll think about it tomorrow). My neighbor asked if I wanted the Chinese elms pulled out of there. (That should have been a rhetorical question . . . Chinese elms are clearly right out of Pandora's box.) I said I would love it. She sent her teenage son over with a saw and I now have a corner free of Chinese elms and big dead trees. They even hauled away the trash. Oh happy day!!!
